Lesley Ramsay

Lesley is married to Jim, they have four children and nine grandchildren. A Christian since her teenage years, she now spends her time explaining the Bible to women, and encouraging them to follow Jesus. She has ministered across the country and abroad as an evangelist, trainer and Bible teacher and has written several books.

Lesley loves reading novels to relax (a hangover from her former life as an English teacher), walking by the beach, listening to good rhythmic music, designing and making quilts for her grandchildren, and Jim! She wages war against the extra kilos that so easily creep up on her and the green loopy bugs that eat her basil.

At Grow 2010 Lesley will be teaching from the letter to the Hebrews on perseverance.

Naomi Reed

Naomi and her husband Darren trained together as physiotherapists and worked in Sydney hospitals before answering God’s call to the mission field in 1993. They spent six of the next thirteen years working in Nepal and it changed them irrevocably. They now eat rice for breakfast, leave their chappals at the door and pause interminably if you ask them where their home is.

Naomi is the author of four books including My Seventh Monsoon and The Promise. She adores her husband and three sons. The best part of her day is the mad dash up to school at ten to three and then the even madder dash home as the boys fly ahead of her on their scooters.

At grow 2010 Naomi will be presenting two dramatic monologues, bringing one Old Testament woman and one New Testament woman to life for us.
