We Exist to stir up young men and women to live radically for Jesus.
Jesus calls Christians to a radical life of following him. However, peer pressure, career choices, money, the appealing girl or guy and unaddressed, cancerous sin can easily water down a radical Jesus life into just plain old life and then soon into no true life.

STIR wants to tackle this head on with a conference that:

  • Delves deep into God’s word to enable us to see the radical life that Jesus wants.
  • Deals seriously with issues of sin through the public talks and small groups.
  • Stirs us to follow Jesus in every area of our lives.
  • Sets us in the direction of service for the year to come.

However, STIR is just a conference and the main game of the Christian life is the church. As such STIR is a ministry that exists to serve the churches of South East Queensland as it serves Jesus. We want to see church ministry flourish with young men and women who are serious and stirred up for Jesus. Men and women who are committing to a life time of service.

STIR is a non-profit conference and is part of Queensland Christian Convention Association. The STIR Team is made up of people from Independent, Presbyterian and Baptist churches. At the conference we had young men and women from Anglican, Pentecostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Reformed and Independent churches.
